My name is Sharon Joslyn and am relatively new to Substack. I'm 52 years of age - an old soul, a worrier, an over-thinker, but spontaneous when given enough notice. My page is Pigeon Post - where I talk to a mostly empty room about the subjects that interest me in life such as, eccentricity, grief, growing older, and adapting to change .

I’m Irish descent and grew up in Southeast London, but I currently live on a mountain next to a rainforest in Queensland Australia, after emigrating 9 years ago to be with a childhood sweetheart (slow burn). I inherited 3 stepchildren, 2 emotionally unstable dogs and then there’s the chickens…. Although I wish for world peace and an end to hunger, I’d also like to eliminate hangovers and hot sweats. I play the lottery with one sole aim – to build a donkey sanctuary. Thanks for listening and reading (for free)!
